Firehouse World Tour 2010

After pending since november 2009 ago, finally, Firehouse concert will be held in Jakarta - Indonesia on June 16, 2010. Original Productions as promoters which after successful held Michael Bolton's concert on last month, this time bringing the popular hard rock band at 90's era, Firehouse. FireHouse's arrival is the purpose of the Firehouse World Tour 2010 - Indonesia & South East Asia.

Firehouse is a hard rock band that very well known with several hits songs that quite familiar to lovers of rock music in Indonesia. songs such as Love a Life Time, Don't Treat Me Bad, I Live My Life For You, When I Look In To Your Eyes, In Your Perfect World, and others. Firehouse is an American hard rock band formed in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1989. The band reached stardom during the early 1990s. FireHouse won the award for Best New Hard Rock/Metal Band were chosen over Nirvana and Alice in Chains. Originally composed of C.J. Snare (vocalist), Bill Leverty (guitarist), Cosby Ellis (guitarist), Michael Foster (drummer), and Perry Richardson (bassist), the band has maintained its original members with the exception of Cosby Ellis, who left the band in 1989 after co-writing the multi platinum debut recording and was not replaced, and Richardson, who departed in 2000 due to conflict. Richardson was replaced three times before current bassist Allen McKenzie was given the position in 2004.

Firehouse's concerts plan was not held in Jakarta only, but will be concerts in several major cities in Indonesia such as Makasaar, Yogyakarta, Balikpapan, Surabaya, Palembang, Medan, Bali.

Slash Will Concert in Indonesia

World famous guitarist, Slash, will hold a concert in Jakarta - Indonesia, on August 3, 2010. Former guitarist of the most revolutionary rock band in the era of 90's, Guns N' Roses, will greet his fans in Jakarta in order to promotions of his new solo album, entitled "Slash".

Slash, in addition ex-guitarist of Guns N' Roses, also had formed the band namely Slash's Snakepit and release two albums It's Five O'Clock Somewhere (1995) and Ain't Life Grand (2000). then Slash also had the chance to form Velvet Revolver and released two albums entitled Contraband (2004) and Libertad (2007). and the debut solo album was released in April 2010 titled Slash. After successful held concerts of several international artists in Indonesia, ranging from Saosin on January, Kelly Clarkson on April, and recently Pitbull on May 12th, though not enough to satisfy Indonesia's music lovers wishes to await the re-arrival of other international artists for held a concert in Indonesia. And the good news, which will be brought to a concert in Indonesia this year are the legendary rock band form Ireland, U2.

Plan of U2 Concert in Indonesia there's talks since 3 years ago of this plan between Tommy Pratama, Original Production promoter, and U2 management. Actually the U2 has agreed to held a concert in Indonesia in a series of tours this year (2010), but only few of the proposed terms there is one that is still a constraint. Bono (U2 Vocalist) is not give a decision to held a concert in Indonesia. Bono asked that the problems of humanity, global warming, environmental issues, and factors of poverty, cared for by the state. because Bono had promised that He would not come if the country is not concerned with that problems. Maybe Bono is still regarded Indonesia, that including the State was not ready to be visited for a concert, related to this issue.

But whatever His decision later, Indonesian music lovers really expect for U2 concert in Indonesia. Indonesia is the third most populated country in Asia. So U2 will consider of the commercial side, that Indonesia is a country that should be considered as a promising market for the music industry. In addition, Indonesia is a country that loves peace and is not what it seems from the political side lately.

SCTV Music Awards 2010

SCTV Music Awards is an awards ceremony for musicians of Indonesia's music that held by the Indonesian TV station, SCTV. This year, SCTV Music Awards 2010 held back for the eighth time and was held on Thursday May 27, 2010.

Several months before this event, a poll of TV viewers via text messages (SMS) to select the nominees was held on March 22 to May 3, 2010. The results, selected 20 Bands/Singers who are designated as a nominee, are Afgan, Agnes Monica, Armada Band, Derby, d'Masiv, Ello, Geisha, Goliath, Hijau Daun, Kotak, Lyla, Nindy, Pasto, Ridho Rhoma, Rossa, Salju, The Virgin, Ungu, Vierra, and Wali. all nominations are competing to be the best at SCTV Music Awards 2010 in six categories, Male Pop Solo Album, Female Pop Solo Album, Duo/Band Pop Album, New Comers Solo Album, New Comers Duo/Group Album and Album Paling Ngetop (special word from SCTV), And five Special Awards respectively Favorites Band Singer, Favorites Guitar Player, Favorites Bass Player, Favorites Drum Player, and Favorites Keyboard Player.

Armando Christian Pérez (born January 14, 1981), better Known by his stage name Pitbull, is an American rapper. Recorded his first performance was from the Lil Jon album Kings of Crunk in 2002, after Which he released his debut album in 2004 titled M.I.A.M.I (short for Money Is a Major Issue) under TVT Records. Since then, he has released two other albums under the label, El Mariel in 2006 and The Boatlift in 2007. He is Also the host of his own Spanish-language program on the cable channels Mun2 titled La Esquina (Spanish for The Corner).

The concert opened with a performance by Saykoji, an Indonesian Rapper as the opening artist. Not less than one hour Saykoji present as a warm up before concerts Pitbull. Finally about 9.30pm Pitbull finally greeted the audience and immediately brought the songs without stopping. More than 4000 spectators became hysterical and come enjoy rocking song after song is sung. during concerts, and Pitbull's band beat it continues. Two songs "Hotel Room Service" and "I Know You Want Me" to be the climax of this concert. Just be advised, these two songs was to be hits in Indonesia.

Elizabeth Denada Anggia Ayu Tambunan or better known with Denada (born in Jakarta, December 19, 1978) is an Indonesian Singer and Actress. Denada is the daughter of legendary female singers of Indonesia in 70's, Emilia Contessa. Denada is a singer better known as Pop and Rap singer, who's the first female singer to popularize rap music in Indonesia in the era of 90's with hits song "Sambutlah". and Denada always referred as the "Queen of Rap", and "King of Rap, and Iwa K known as the "King of  Rap" at that time.

When She was in top popularity in music's career, Denada continue education in Australia. Upon returning from Australia, Denada tried to return to Indonesia's music industry but switched to the flow of Dangdut music. Dashboard Confessional is an Alternative Rock Band from Florida, USA, led by singer-songwriter Chris Carrabba. The following year, he recorded Further Seems Forever's debut album The Moon Is Down.
